: My client is growing company setting the pace for adoption of digital multimedia technology. This role includesspecific responsibility for embedded driver software nterfacing with hardware such as DMA controllers, LCD ports,keypads, IR, Flash memory devices, DACs, SPDIF ports, serial ports, GPIO etc. Ideal candidates will have- Experience ofdeveloping embedded driver software, for applications such as mobile phones, PDAs, STBs etc. Good honours degree inComputer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline At least 2 years experience of software engineering inthe semiconductor, consumer electronics or related industries Excellent written and oral communications skills ExtensiveC/C++ programming experience Experience of using UNIX/Linux cross development tools e.g. make, GCC, CVS Knowledge of DAB,DVB, MPEG or Software Defined Radio desirable more Jobs at www.remjobs.co.uk |
