They are currently looking to recruit a Software Engineer to join their team of three within this exciting project. As asoftware engineer your function will be to assist in the definition and delivery of high-quality technical solutions forour global Microsoft Axapta deployment. This role will be based in Duxford UK.Primarily utilizing MorphX and X++, you are expected to anticipate, identify, and manage potential risk/issues andsolutions impacting project performance results. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for the development,test, and deployment of solutions in your area and ensure appropriate version and change control processes are followed.You will also be involved in subsequent support and maintenance of the developments.Training and experience with both Axapta and Morphx will be given. There will also be experience with C# 2005 and SQL2005.Roles and Responsibilities:- Complete defined work streams within the scope of your role- Operate independently within defined guidelines- Identify potential risks/issues impacting individual performance or beyond and suggest solutions- Contribute to technical set-up and execution for specific project areas i.e. estimating, planning, and deliverables.- Structure and deliver work results against defined standards- Work within change control and version control rules.- Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements- Establish test plans describing test environment and expected results- Perform advanced support and troubleshooting in test and production environments- Interact with the business and project leaders as work requires.Minimum Requirements:- 2 - 5+ years as an architect/programmer- 2+ years experience with C#, .NET, and VB- Microsoft platform skills- Background in application development- Full life-cycle experience architecting large, scalable applications- Working knowledge of project management methodologies.Preferred Skills:- MS Certification- ERP experience- XML/HTTP- SQL- Working knowledge of Biz TalkFor over half a century, Our Client has pioneered the development of advanced composite materials for the commercialaerospace, space & defence, electronics, wind energy and the automotive industry.
