Theynow require a Software Engineer Permanent / Contractor in their Brighton office.You will be committed and enthusiastic, with a desire to take on new challenges. Educated to degree level in ComputerScience or equivalent experience, you will have an intimate knowledge of Java and ideally, a good understanding of C++.A sound knowledge of Object Oriented Design, JSF, Hibernate, SQL, Spring, XML, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SOAP and Linux isrequired. Web development experience and/or an understanding of e-learning and knowledge management technologies (such asIMS standards and RDF) would also be beneficial.In addition, practical experience of agile development methodologies would be advantageous, but is optional for a dynamicindividual who can quickly take on board new skills.You need to be comfortable working in an environment of rapid development, within a multi-disciplined technical team, andbe expected to actively contribute to the evolvement of their working practices and processes.
