Globally successful software house with a stellar product suite seeks "new-blood" project manager to work in the "Centreof Expertise", from project / product birth to grave.Incumbent is responsible for development; organization and control of project materials; schedules and costs for multiplemedium-to-large scale projects. Function as a liaison between internal and external clients; technical staff; contractorsand vendors from project conception to project completion. May provide subject matter expertise in technical areas suchas telecommunications; data communications; information systems and technology infrastructure design; administration;security; maintenance and support. May work with upper level management and the project office to determine project andinitiative priorities. Incumbent may also mentor junior project manager; influence project office "best practices" andfacilitate various technical steering committees. May manage project from a technical perspective either client driven orinternal company driven projects.To get on board, you'll need the following:Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skillsAdvanced business knowledge and excellent project management skillsAbility to work independently with little or no supervision on complex projectsDetail and customer service orientedProficiency with various software applications programs such as Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Projectis desirable.Strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisionsAbility to conduct in-depth research and present technical recommendationsProven ability to manage medium scale, collaborative, technical projects to closureStrong leadership and negotiation skillsExperience in working in a multi-client and multi-vendor environment Ability to work in a group environment which achieves results through teamworkIdeally, you will hail from a background in: Operational Support Systems; BSS; Billing; Rating; Mediation; RevenueAssurance; Telecoms; CTI; IVR; Banking / Finance; Utilities.This is a Global company, offering excellent packages, inclusive of first-rate salary, bonus, life assurance and the nowrare final-salary pension.
