Our client is at the top of its field within its respected industry and is currently looking for three experiencedSoftware Team Leaders.The chosen software team leaders will be responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoringprogress on software activities relating to their area of responsibility.Essential Skills and Knowledge: Previous experience within a team leadership role (Appraisals, motivation, technical arbitration, etc). Experience of planning software projects (considering resourcing, task dependencies, tool requirements, etc) Experience of day-to-day monitoring and reporting of software projects (for progress and quality issues) Thorough understanding of the software development process (theoretical and practical) At least five years experience of embedded software development on real time systems, preferably for mobile wirelesshandsets Experience of configuration management and version control (preferably CVS)A Working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word and MS Project is also essential.DESIRABLE Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of the TETRA standards TETRA handset software development. OSE RTOS experience. Analogue Devices Hercules microcontroller experience SDL/SDT experience |
