Our client is a fabless semiconductor company redefining high-speed Ethernet networking. The software development is carried out in the UK office in Cambridge where they develop network protocolsin both user-level and in the kernel on mainstream server operating systems (Windows and Linux).They have a vacancy in their software test team, testing TCP/IP, iSCSI and driver code on Linux and Windows platforms.The work will require using an in-house automated test framework on clusters of servers, writing and designing testcases, and also limited manual testing. The successful candidate will be generating new test cases by gaining a detailedunderstanding of the software design, by reviewing code coverage analysis and by discussions with development engineers.Candidates will be degree qualified, quick learners and have a familiarity with the Python scripting language.Understanding of Linux and/or Windows networking is highly desirable.Please call IC Resources to discuss further |
