Click here to view current IT : Telecoms / East of England jobs.  Job Details: Title: Software Test Engineer Location: Cambridgeshire Salary: GBP 35-38K + benefits Description: : Exciting opportunity for a Software Test Engineer to join a team of software test specialists working on leading edge client server technology and the release of new products to customers. You will have a 1st/2.1 in computer science; significant test engineering experience; and skills in some of Windows OS (XP, 9X, 2003, CE), Unix (Solaris, Linux, Aix, HP-UX) or network admin. You should also be familiar with test automation, test management systems, Web technologies, databases or security. You will be involved in working on a range of products from existing complex test plans to recommending corrective action. A good eye for detail is required as you will be expected to maintain accurate documentation of your results and operate with other test teams and developers. You will need to be a team player.
