Our client is an exciting and fast growing broadcast company currently seeking a Spectrum Planning Engineer. This rolewill offer the successful applicant the opportunity to work on the largest technology development rollout in UK Broadcasthistory. With responsibility for developing frequency and network plans for Digital TV (DVB-T) and Digital RadioApplications (T-DAB). Providing support to engineering teams building broadcast networks specifically for the switch overfrom analogue to digital TV broadcasting in the UK. You will play a key role in verifying digital coverage for newantenna designs, ensuring that the DSO project teams are provided with the latest information on developments in thefrequency plans, producing technical documentation, analysing the coverage and interference implications of detailedrollout plans, liaising with other organizations involved in the planning and implementation of the digital switchover.This is very much a hands on role, requiring the successful applicant to be comfortable in carrying out field measurementsurveys for coverage and interference investigations.Matrix Programme and Project Management is acting as an employment agency with regard to permanent roles and as anemployment business with regard to contract/interim roles. |
