SQL Server DBA / Network & Support AnalystThe role is responsible for maintaining the access, security and performance of all SQL Servers and proactively audit andmanage user requests to database access and creation as well as the monitoring of the performance and scalability of dataservers.The role is also responsible for supporting all users of our systems, whether internal or external and to maintain andsupport the Group infrastructure equipment. This involves responding, resolving and updating any calls in a timelyfashion as well as being on call with the rest of the team.The successful applicant will have knowledge and experience of supporting and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server 2000,Windows 2000 IP based network as well as a good working knowledge of Windows 2000/XP Professional, Windows 2000/3 Server,Windows NT4 Server, Microsoft Exchange 5.5/2003 and Active Directory, Firewalls and Cisco Routers.As well as being a team player you should also have effective written and verbal communication skills and an ability toconvey an understanding of technical matters to non-technical people.The F10 Group offers the services of an Employment Agency for permanent recruitment and the services of an EmploymentBusiness for contract recruitment. |
