Working for this manufacturing company, your main responsibility will be to ensure the efficient use of material to meetcustomer demand.Other responsibilities include;Enter production plan to produce MRP report, check report accuracy and pass to Purchasing for action.Prepare schedule sheet for scheduled components. Prepare subcontractor requests i.e. acid-dipping requests.Regular monitoring of stock levels (daily to weekly) of all packing material ensuring parts are called off in time.Analyse stock data, recommend changes to part number minimum stock levels, investigate stock discrepancies, maintainstock locations to match actual locations.Create Works Order for basic stocks and pass to cell managers, create and book sub levels as required. Maintains recordof Works Orders raised.Take an active part in stocktake preparation and execution.Goods In Entry and booking to cover absences.You will have worked in a stock control/ buying role although not necessarily in a manufacturing company, and be computerliterate in Microsoft Office packages Word, Excel to intermediate level. |
