GBP 40,000 to GBP 100,000 per year (GBP 40-50K Basic GBP 100K OTE + car allowance)

Leading multinational provider of I.T. services and human capital management solutions, with an enviable blue chip clientbase.They are currently seeking a first class sales professional with both solid experience and a successful track record inselling learning solutions to new and existing corporate clients.Main purpose of RoleThis Strategic Sales role is: To grow revenues and profits through the pro-active sales of training services into new and existing major accounts To help develop an 'opportunities' led culture within the company To develop and manage target client activity as part of a programme for strategic client development To play an active role in the strategy and direction of the company and contribute to a company-wide strategy as asenior member of the sales teamKey Priorities To expand the Companys current revenues by pro-actively targeting, qualifying and selling training services into keyaccounts To work closely with colleagues in identifying new business opportunities and to introduce new services into theseaccounts To network within our target customer base in order to reach the key decision makers and understand their plans andmajor issues To keep abreast of potential prospects, identifying opportunities before ITTs are disseminated To provide a high standard of account management within nominated accounts through understanding the business needs ofthe decision makers and the business direction of the client To manage and co-ordinate all sales activities within the key accounts To promote key business propositions within the agreed client base and pro-actively seek out opportunities as a wholePersonal Attributes Deliver to sales targets / Training budget Act as a role model to engender sales focussed organisation Passion for engaging with clients and a desire to succeed Propose and implement sales strategies and plans to deliver budgeted growth Help develop propositions of value to the market Proactively initiate strategic opportunities and build partnership based relationships with strategic clients Ensure first class account and sales management practices and provide support to the roll-out of sales plans Engage with internal colleagues within Training and other group divisions with the objective of maximising success forthe companyBusiness Planning Work closely with Sales Director in the development of planning methodology to win and develop new business customersDecision Making Work closely with Sales Director, Operations Director and MD to support strategic decision makingCommercial Ensure sales opportunities achieve best commercial terms and maximise opportunity and profitPeople Management Lead from the front and by example Act as a role model Coach and support teams as and when required to achieve sales plansEssential skills and experience Training market background with understanding of current market issues and keenness to lead strategic thinking todevelop service propositions Experience and successful track record of selling learning solutions to new corporate clients The ability to sell concepts and develop propositions Solution/Consultative sales experience - selling at senior level High analytical and conceptual thinking skills Strong commercial acumen Strong bid writing skills Balanced risk management and planning experience Familiar with financial concepts and the need to manage a P&LPersonality Strong client facing skills Develops strong relationships Focussed on priorities and need to secure client wins Team player ability to build effective internal relationships at all levels High energy levels and ability to cope with pressure Passionate wins hearts and minds Has gravitas and impact and respect of others Demonstrates leadership skills Intellect to understand client needs Motivated by challenges Natural ability to build partnership with clients Integrity and reputation
