Description:

Our client, a provider of professional IT and business services, works with organisations to achieve improvements inbusiness performance. Their solutions enable companies to enhance the performance of both individuals and theorganisation.Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will be responsible for new and named Accounts, managing theclient relationship and ensuring growth in revenues.RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Management of client accountso To manage pre-determined list of client accounts. Establish and grow client relationships.o To engage the client and mobilise resources to ensure solutions are positioned to meet client needs.o To identify, manage and close opportunities within client accounts.o To engage all aspects of capability and to utilise senior management input where appropriate to maximise potentialopportunity.o To understand existing and new clients current business goals, articulate future ones and to position our client as aprovider of services to meet these goals.o To develop and maintain Account Planso To ensure customer satisfaction2. Key involvement in entire Sales Cycleo To ensure all prospects/suspects are logged and processedo To ensure monthly forecasts are completed accurately and in a timely fashiono To undertake regular reporting of accounts as and when required.o To manage the production of proposals in response to client needso To propose propositions to client to meet actual or perceived needs.3. Developing business propositionso To present at relevant conferenceso To attend relevant seminars and conferences where applicable.o To support all marketing initiatives relevant to accounts and follow up any potential leads.o To follow up any leads to a successful conclusion.o To apply current business propositions to accountso To input into proposition developmento To work with major partners to take propositions to marketo To work with niche product/services providers to take propositions to marketPERSON SPECIFICATION:Essentialo Proven track record for achieving Solution Sales.o Self starter who is highly results driven.o Must have existing strong relationships with clients in relevant sector.o Professional, presentable and able to operate at all levels within client organisation.o Confident and assertive with excellent, written and presentation skills.o Aware of the drivers in the IT market and possessing a strategic approach.o Experience of operating at CEO and or CIO level.o Intellectually capable with critical thinking ability.o Possesses good technical knowledge and understanding as well as Solutions experienceo Excellent interpersonal skills. Adapts their style depending on their audience.o Track record in the development of opportunities and winning orderso Possesses a consultative approach to work.o Lateral thinking and strong problem solving abilitieso Ability to combine commercial acumen with keen eye for detailo Highly credible and influential, with the ability to adapt quickly to changeDesirableo Ideally has experience of working in a software house and must have sector specific knowledgeo Knowledge of procurement processes, ideally in both private and public sectors
