Description:

The client, a large high profiled consumer led FTSE Group, operates within the financial service sector, with a broad andvaried product range and a number of operational units. The Strategy Manager will work closely with various Heads ofbusiness units and senior managers to facilitate and develop idea generation. Assisting the business to develop strategicideas and reporting to the Head of Strategic Development, responsibilities include; Utilise competitor and market insight to develop options, proposals and recommendations on how the business strategyshould be refined and developed. Provide insightful and timely strategic analysis to inform and support executive decision-making. This will involveunderstanding the market place, competitors, the corporate business, and financial metrics Ensure consistency of strategic messaging throughout the company. Facilitate discussions with senior managers across the business, regarding external analyst queries, liaising withGroup Investor Relations. Produce in-depth competitor and product analysis reportsThe successful candidate will have experience of strategic foresight and planning as well as project management within alarge organisation. Although financial services experience is preferable, candidates from a large B2C environment, suchas utilities, teleco or e-commerce, would be of interest. Strong analytical, facilitation and communication skills areessential for this role, as are good influencing skills.
