A major first tier supplier to the civil aerospace sector is in a fortunate position to expand the level of analyticalexpertise across a number of their UK sites.These key positions will hold a high level of responsibility for the design and development of the next generationaerospace structures and load bearing components.Key skills and experiences:A minimum of 2 years working in an aerospace stress related environment with specific exposure to fatigue, damage andtolerance analysis.Excellent ability and knowledge of traditional hand calculations and stress procedures with exposure of using MathCAD.Competent in FE modelling (PATRAN / NASTRAN).Previous involvement in aircraft design or certification programmes.The role will last a minimum of 6 months but is likely to turn into a long term programme with the offerings of contractpromotion and extra levels of responsibility that would be matched with market pay rates.Keywords: Stress Analysis, Hand Calculations, Nastran, Patran. |
