Our client is a successful international organisation providing consulting, design and management services. Theycurrently have an opportunity for a Structural CAD Engineer to join and provide support to the Technical office. The teamis currently expanding and this role provides great opportunities and challenges to develop skills and knowledge tobroaden the tasks and have ownership of a task within agreed timescale.Responsibilities include provision of assistance to Design Engineers across a variety of tasks [ Structural Steelwork,Reinforced Concrete, Roads & Drainage and to provide assistance with other departments including Rail, Highways andEnvironmental, to take ownership for their own development and liase with relevant colleagues if appropriate]The right candidate must have:-5+ years experience,-AutoCad experience with recognised City & Guilds qualification or proven track record.-Experience with Microstation and other CAD software.-An awareness of design standards.-Experience with CADS Steelwork and Reinforced Concrete softwareIdeal candidates should also have-Good communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels-Good organisational and planning skills with clear reporting to Team Leaders and a flexible approach-Demonstrate resilience and working to demanding targets and timescales.
