STRUCTURAL ENGINEER -LEEDS - PERMANENT- SALARY NEGOTIABLEOur client is an international practice, providing multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy to world class constructionprojects. Their Leeds office is looking for talented individuals with a good understanding of architecture and a desireto contribute to the built environment. They require a Structural Engineer also interested in integrated and innovativedesign. Preferably with MEng or Msc and a minimum of two years post graduate experience. You will be a team player withgood communication skills. Working towards chartership is advantageous but not essential.This post requires a candidate who must have: Graduate membership of a relevant Institution Good IT skills Good communication skills, experience in dealing with other employees and external clients. Ability to communicate technical subjects. Confident, proactive character, ability to take the lead in challenging situations. Experience of working on a one to one basis and in team working situationsKey Responsibilities Undertake detailed engineering design Prepare technical schedules Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work Work closely with and monitor performance of Technician (as appropriate) Under guidance of senior staff, represent our client at meetings with other professionals and suppliers. Ensure service and project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget. Ensure that appropriate service/design decisions are met. Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of thecompany and the client are achieved.Salary depending on experienceref JF 0511-29
