A FTSE 100 organisation and market leader within their specialist retail sector, our client is embarking on a supplychain re-engineering program, involving all facets and a specific emphasis on developing their inbound supply chain costswith suppliers.Reporting to the Head of Demand Supply Planning, you will manage a team to identify the true cost of benefits of CentralDistribution and negotiate with suppliers to realize true value. Compliance to their distribution delivery standards iskey.Probably a graduate and ideally with a Post Graduate related qualification, you will have significant experience inworking with suppliers on moving their inbound distribution to a more cost effective and collaborative approach and havegood knowledge of factory gate pricing.Highly organized and results driven, you will be experienced in supplier negotiation, supply planning, demand planningand inventory management. Ideally backgrounds are sort from within Food/Non Food or FMCG sectors, but applications fromwithin other areas such as automotive are welcomed. |
