He/she will operate, maintain and develop key supplier QA processes in order to ensure consistent delivery of highperformance and quality products as well as managing the calibration of all UK instruments. He/she will also work withindepartmental strategic objectives to help develop supplier capabilities via supplier audits and review processes andprovide expediting support for outsourced project build.He/she will have a mechanical engineering background and the ability to read engineering drawings; a proven track recordof working with people at all levels both internally and externally as well as previous experience within the quality orinspection environment and knowledge of ISO900:2000. Any knowledge of MRP, lean production or six sigma would bedesirable. He/she will be confident in the use of Microsoft office software and have knowledge of Scala. A clean drivinglicence is essential. |
