An experienced Supply Chain Process Improvement Principal Engineer is required for this leading global organisation. You will develop and implement Supply Chain Re-Engineering Improvements, working cross regionally within supply groups as required, you must be prepared to travel as and when required for business purposes. Ideally educated to HNC level a Sigma Green Belt certification also would be an advantage. Worked within an area of supply chain management/logistics, particularly planning/forecasting area, for at least 3 years. Experience of SAP, particularly R3 is a requirement, i.e. involved as a core team member in implementation and educated and trained in the use of modules. Your background will stem from the manufacturing industry with a mix of MTO/MTS/EGO type work with mixed lead time supplier base. Experience of the use of Continuous Improvement Techniques to drive change within the business is also advantageous. A good understanding of MRP systems/sales and operational planning and forecasting at part level/product family level with knowledge of SAP modules SD/CS/MM/PP detailed knowledge and understanding.
