: An excellent opportunity has arisen within a company which is involved in the international automotive and aircraft industry, with a range of services which embrace the entire development process chain. From initial concept right through to mass production readiness, they develop design solutions for vehicle bodies, interiors, chassis, engines, electrics/electronics and major components and can also provide support for mass production start-up. They now require Systems Design Engineers with 1-2 years experience in Systems Design in Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS). You will possess experience/knowledge of sizing, package, design, steering, hardware/software development, mechanics, motors, NVH electronic, gear testing, wire harness, tuning canape, manufacturing, HIL, MISRA, Safety IEC 61508, Manual Controls Programming, Matlab, reliability and robustness and FMEA. Qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, you will be based in Germany and the UK. Travelling is a key part of the role so you must be enjoy and be willing to travel. |
