Click here to view current Electrical / East of England jobs.  Job Details: Title: Systems Engineer - VHDL or verilog plus C programming Location: Cambridgeshire Salary: None specified Description: DO YOU HAVE A C PROGRAMMING BACKGROUND COUPLED WITH VERILOG OR VHDL EXPERIENCE? IF SO WE HAVE THE ROLE FOR YOU.A Staff Systems Engineer is sought with 2 years+ experience as systems or hardware engineer and a 2.1 or higher degree, probably in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline. You are a competent C programmer with electronic engineering skills (PCB design, familiarity with test equipment, basic analogue electronics) and Verilog or VHDL experience. Good communication skills, able to solve problems and able to travel worldwide. ROLE: Working with the Systems team you will design, test and support boards plus working on board and system designs, which may include working at customer sites. You will port software between boards with the same processor, and should be familiar with C and contribute to writing application notes, chip-level debugging and characterisation and failure analysis.
