Description: |
A systems security-engineering consultant with a communications and IT system design and security background is required.The successful applicant will be working on Command Control Communications Computers and Intelligence (C4I) system ofsystems and associated subsystems and equipment - covering communications, IT, associated security and system managementfunctionality. Responsibilities may also include the integration of subsystems, interoperability and associated securityrequirements. Responsibilities of this role will include: - System design analysis. - Security architecture design -Preparation of Requirement Specifications, Plans and Specifications for Subsystem testing - Liaison with the systemaccreditor, and subsequent production of necessary security documents: 1. Infosec Scoping Appraisal - ISA 2. SecurityRisk Assessment - SRA 3. Security Requirement Statement - SRS 4. Security Aspect of Design - SAM 5. Codes of Connection -CoCo 6. Key Management Plans - KMP 7. Evaluation Management Plan - EMP 8. Operational Security Management Plan - OSMP 9.Infosec Management Plan - IMP 10. Security Impact Analysis - SIA 11. Accreditation Evidence Statement - AES - Bringingtogether system requirements and security requirements to produce a cohesive system security architecture to meetaccreditation requirements - Preparation of Integration Specifications - Evaluation & Health Checks: COMPUSEC, COMSEC,INFOSEC & TEMPEST Skills required include: - Thorough knowledge of communications and IT systems - Ability to understandand handle complex multi-domain system architectures - Knowledge of interoperability and system connection requirements -Knowledge of system accreditation procedures - Understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle - Knowledge of JSP 440security requirements, and ideally the BS7799 processes - Understanding of SMART procurement - Requirements capture andmanagement in tools such as DOORS - Understanding of requirements management - Knowledge of military land based C4Isystems and doctrine. - Information management techniques and business processes - CLAS Registered Security Consultant -Cabinet Office Infosec Training Paths and Competencies Scheme (IPTC) registered - BS7799 trained. - Knowledge of CryptoSystems and TEMPEST requirements |
