They are now looking for capable Engineers with a combined PC Development and Mobile RTOS background, so they canextend their products to support the rest of the emerging Wireless platforms (WinCE, MS Smartphone 2003, BREW, Java,LINUX, SavaJE)Minimum (Essential) RequirementsStrong communication and influencing skills, ability to 'carry' a technical argument.Proven Design and Architectural skills (OO, RUP, RAD, Agile, XP etc) and at least 2 years formal experience as a Softwareor Technical ArchitectSolid experience in the production of complex, networked, scalable systemsA Graduate with a Good Engineering/Computing Degree or PHDStrong, commercial coding skills in C/C++ and Java (J2ME or J2SE)Direct, previous experience or knowledge in issues surrounding device management, such as service brokerage,synchronisation, PC connectivity and security.IP Networking, direct experience writing software that can 'scale' well in a networked environmentPC Based Software Development skills on Win32 or UNIXHandset operating systems (At least one of SymbianOS, BREW, WinCE, Embedded LINUX)Nice to have skills include:Team leading of small teams containing bright Engineers.XML & Web ServicesSOAPScripting (UNIX Shell, Perl, Python, PHP, Jython)Customer Acceptance or Integration work.Above all, enthusiasm, creativity and a passion for the creation of quality code is mandatory.
