Their customers include Cingular, T-Mobile, Ericsson, Siemens, Motorola, 3 UK, Hutchison andOrange.Role DescriptionTo contribute to the usability of the ENTERPRISE suite of products by producing quality user assistance information. Thiscurrently means the provision of: Online help Online PDF manuals Printed manuals (for major releases only)Responsibilities Using requirement and design specs, assess work required for each software release. Write, edit and get reviewed the information pertaining to new features in each software release. Ensure timely and accurate release of information in line with communicated project schedules. Test instructions against software. Maintain accurate and relevant information by monitoring and actioning:o Bugso Change requestso Other sources, for example, training courses and customer feedback Liaise with other departments as required. Actively seek customer feedback. Set up, maintain and improve document standards and processes as required. Understand the ENTERPRISE suite/relevant tools.Capabilities Good communication skills Desire to communicate and explain ideas fully Good, clear and concise written English Good level of PC literacy and an ability to learn new software Willingness to work within existing standards and contribute to new ones Capable of working to firm deadlines At least 3 years authoring experience Experience of Author IT or a similar help authorising tool |
