Technical Lead RFIC Design EngineerSoftware, Silicon, Semiconductor, Multimedia, Digital, DAB, DVB, MPEG, STB, Mobile, PDA, Automotive, SoC, SoftwareDefined Radio, Hardware, RF, RF IC, Low IF, Zero IF, CMOS, SiGe BiCMOS, Chips, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, UK.TECHNICAL LEAD REQUIRED TO JOIN WORLD LEADING COMPANY.My Client, a pioneer and leading provider of complete semiconductor modular solutions for digital multimedia products,are currently looking for a Technical Lead RFIC Design Engineer to join their expanding team in Cambridge.Your role will be to lead the technical development of high performance, highly integrated RF ICs for the company's worldleading multimedia product line. This role requires the delivery of complex radio ICs from early requirements definitionto full production as well as the mentoring of other engineers.The job entails: Design of high performance as well as cost and power competitive RF and analog blocks. Hands on evaluation and debug of RFICs. Transfer of RFICs to full production. Direct interfacing with foundry, other suppliers and customers.Qualifications and experience: Good first degree in, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. Relevant higher degree preferred. At least 10 years of RF IC design, with emphasis on the design of low noise receiver and synthesizer circuits. Experience of Low IF or Zero IF integrated receivers or transceiver design. Experience of radio IC transfer to production. Good grounding in RF IC development tools. Our tool flow includes the Cadence mixed signal toolset and Agilent ADS. Understanding of CMOS and SiGe BiCMOS RF IC technologies. Experience of working with global consumer digital communication or digital broadcast standards, for example DVB, DMB.
