The CompanyA leading supplier of new media solutions and services to a broad range of clients.The RoleWe are looking for a technical lead to join our development team working on a variety of website and multimedia projects.You will be responsible for the technical output for the organisation from specification through to implementation. Yourrole will not only include the management of technical solutions through your department but will also includeconsultancy and input into proposal development and presentation.Your role will also include the scheduling, management and mentoring of the development team. You will be workingdirectly with the Account Management and Design teams to ensure the smooth delivery of all projects.Projects include brochure-ware sites, database/XML content management systems, web-based applications and standaloneapplications development.You will be required to keep up to date with all emerging technologies and techniques, such as ASP.NET and web services.The RequirementsExperience:4 years minimum as a technical lead or a minimum of 8 years as a seniorweb Developer.You will be able to demonstrate your experience through a range of client projects demonstrated at interviewEducation:Graduate with minimum 2:1 or equivalent.SkillsManagement, team lead and direction 5 yrsSystem and business analysis 5 yrsApplication design 6 yrsDatabase development and design 6 yrsEcommerce development 5 yrsSystem testing methodologies 5 yrsTechnical Experience/knowledge:HTML 8 yrsJavaScript 8 yrsVBScript: 8 yrsASP 7 yrsMS Access: 6yrsSQL Server 6 yrsXML/XSLT 5 yrsVB.NET 3 yrsASP.NET 3 yrsFlash ActionScript an advantageCore Skills:Solution recommendation including recommendation of technologies including direction for future application development.You will have a sound understanding of the required development languages and techniques, including browser anddisability compliancy.Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects through the development department.(project management qualifications an advantage)You will be able to manage your own time andmembers of the team to ensure delivery of projects within defined timescales.Excellent team management and mentoring capabilities.You will have excellent communication skills.You will be a team player and also able to work alone when required.You will have a keen eye for quality and pay strict attention to detail.You will have a flexible approach and be able to cope with several projects at any one time.Good presentation skills.Excellent technical writing capabilities. |
