Our client, a leading manufacturer of precision engineered components for industries such as aerospace and automotive,are currently looking for a Technical Manager (Engineering) to join their senior management team in Somerset. Reportingto the Operations Manager, the role takes responsibility for overseeing all the organisations major engineeringdevelopment projects. Specific responsibilities will include developing the business strategy for the engineeringfunction, interfacing with customers to support product development, and aligning technical resource/plant capabilitywith the commercial/operations of the business.Suitable candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a range of industrial fields where improvementsand developments have taken the business forward. You should also be educated to degree level (or equivalent), be workingtowards further professional qualifications and membership of an engineering institution, and have considerableengineering experience, ideally within the aerospace or automotive industries.
