Technical Pre-Sales Consultant (Call & Voice Recording Systems)Based in LondonGBP 40K Base + GBP 5,500 Car Allowance + Bonus + BenefitsAre client is one of the largest independent specialists providers of Call & Voice Recording, Telephone Logging & QualityMonitoring Systems. They have been in business over 15 years. They supply Financial Institutions, Emergency Services andCall Centres with a full range of Voice and Call Recording solutions.Due to growth they are now looking to recruit an experienced Technical Pre Sales Consultant to join their London basedteam.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Support sales dept, working with account managers and sales executives to establish professional relationships withcustomers. Represent the company in a technical consultant capacity at customer meetings and sales presentations. Communicate the companies service capabilities to customers through customer presentations, seminars and ad-hocrelationship building. Establish and build a positive, communicative and collaborative relationship with account managers, sales executives,technical department and third party suppliers to achieve Business solutions. Will manage the technical stage of the customers proposal. Will work in conjunction with sales dept to identify customer requirements and develop customer proposals to provideend-to-end business solutions. Will act as the focal point for all sales related technical queries. Co-ordinate the professional Installation of Demo/Beta systems in conjunction with the Projects Department. Develop and maintain formal handover process to Projects department in the case of special projects or when required. Will assist the sales dept in the provision of quotations to customers on tenders and technical related subjects. Keeping abreast of technical advancements through reading relevant journals, self-study and attending company training. Provide training sessions/workshops to the Sales dept on new product and solution offerings. Develop technical sales documentation to aid the Sales department in the provision of demonstrations, proposals andgeneral knowledge. Manage and act as the focal point for all technical responses relating to tender/RFI/RFP documents. Work inconjunctionwith the Account Manager or Sales executive to provide a professional customer focused response.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum of 2 years experience working in a technical presales role within the IT / Telecoms sector preferably withinthe voice recording or contact centre technology arena. Excellent knowledge of IT (including Operating Systems), Networking and PC Hardware. Knowledge of SQL and ApplicationDevelopment ability would also be desirable. Must have a stable career background not a job hopper Any knowledge of working with financial services or city based clients would be a nice to have. You will be educated to at least A Level standard preferably with some technical qulification such as MCP, MCSE orCCNA Clean Driving Licence.This role will suit a dynamic and highly motivated individual with an eye for detail and interest in emergingtechnologies and the ability to work in a team and adapt to pressurised schedules.
