Opportunity for an experienced salesperson with a technical aptitude. Mainly office based but some travelling tocustomers anywhere in the UK. The role is to develop and complete sales opportunities within engineering andmanufacturing organisations throughout the UK, selling switches, EMI filters, solenoids and other electro-mechanicalcomponents.The company is a lively and growing stockist distributor with about 40 staff and GBP 8m sales. You would be working in asmall team and spearheading our development of new products and customers. You will be expected to identify and pursueopportunities created by our marketing campaigns, select the components most suitable for the customer's application,work with engineers to gain approval and secure long term business for the products you are supporting.You will use the internet, email and telephone to obtain and deliver information and keep records up to date in ourcontact management system. You will be required to manage multiple opportunities in parallel and project yourself withenthusiasm and professionalism to both customers and suppliers. The position will give you scope to negotiate and securemajor business in a competitive market.Salary GBP 20k to GBP 25k plus commission. |
