: This global scientific company specialising in biochemicals for the pharma and biotech industries is currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Executive. This exciting position offers excellent opportunities for progression and would ideally suit a chemistry graduate looking for their first step into business or a technical specialist looking to move out of the laboratory into an interactive sales role. This is a newly created role and the company encourages development and progression, there is plenty of scope to push the role forwards and really make it your own. The key responsibility of the Technical Sales Executive is to maintain and grow the peptides business in the UK and Eire. You will develop existing business and generate new business through building strong relationships with clients. Tasks will include writing sales reports, attending exhibitions and project management. This leading organisation has offices in Switzerland, Europe and the US. Frequent opportunities exist for travel, primarily throughout the UK to visit clients and attend exhibitions. It is essential you are educated to degree level in chemistry and have a good understanding of peptides, synthesis of, purification etc. Some experience in a sales environment would be beneficial however candidates looking to move into sales will also be considered. This role requires a self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individual with excellent interpersonal skills who thrives under pressure. Proficiency in Excel and Access and an ability to interpret data would be beneficial. This position offers a benefits package and salary of GBP 18K - GBP 23K dependent on experience.
