Key Responsibilities Is involved with design teams and trade contractors at site meeting level and project meeting level, andcontributes toward the project report. Reviews design and shop drawings, and the project programme and contributes value engineering skills. Responsible for suggesting trade contractors, systems and manufacturers for team appraisal. Carries out M&E appraisals, and contributes these to proposal team for inclusion in proposal. Attends at `pitch` meetings. Successfully carries out a champion role, including publication of `champion papers`. Takes on the role of mentor to TTSM and ATSM. Likely to be the TSM for a large project (M&E value GBP 2.5m+) or several smaller projects. Starts to develop marketing relationships with external professionals and clients. Starts to develop strategic relationships with suppliers and contractors.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, persistent and thorough with good presentation skills and communicationskills.Essential skills and qualifications In addition to generalist knowledge of common M&E systems, has a greater in-depth knowledge and expertise insome specific areas e.g. IT cabling, controls, UPS systems, lighting acoustics, refrigeration etc. High level strategic thinking required at project level, and low level strategic thinking for technical servicesskills area.Personal attributes Energetic and flexible team member Ability to communicate positively and effectively |
