IT Support Engineer London.Qualifications: Degree (although not essential) or HNC / HND Computer Science or equivalent IT Training e.g. Microsoft MCSE / Win 2000 or Win 2003 Server and/or IP network qualified to level of CCNA CCDASkills and Knowledge Essential: 5+ years experience in an operations / IT support role within a large corporate, telecom services company or callcentre Unix experience (preferably RH Linux AS ) systems administration & server architectures Windows 2000 or 2003 systems administration and server architectures Sybase or My SQL Database Administration Web site hosting using Apache / Tomcat Server build & configurationSkills and Knowledge Desirable: Knowledge of VoiceXML, Perl and other shell scripting languages. Telephony knowledge including ISDN services and remote access services Telephony IVR or ACD systems (not essential) ideally Nortel MPS 1000 / Periphonics Knowledge of telephony based speech recognition and text-to-speech systems e.g. Nuance, ScansoftAspectus is acting as an agency in relation to this vacancy. |
