SUMMARY:To make a skilled, pro-active and professional contribution to the provision of technical support to customers; toprovide input to business development activities and to assist with the evaluation of new products for the Company'sexpanding portfolio.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide effective and professional support to customers requesting assistance with problems, information or technicaladvice relating to product (toner cartridges) production issues.Carry out product testing, problem/fault identification and diagnosis of new and existing products.Provide technical and product advice to sales colleagues and customers at industry trade shows in the UK and overseas.PERSON PROFILE:Degree/HND level qualification in mechanical engineering.An understanding of basic principles of electronics.Will have a background involving (mechanical) design, product engineering/new product R & D and customer/sales support.Experience with digital print/copier systems and components highly desirable.Experience in a customer serving role, including direct contact with customers by telephone and face to face.Commercial mentality, with an understanding of product manufacturing issues.Able to prepare professional and appropriate documentation.Must be willing to travel internationally if required. |
