Job Description:Working for this market leading telecommunications company you will work as a Designer with responsibility for the planning and production of cost feasibilitys, completed Civils, RF and Telecom Designs (Telephony & CATV) for new development schemes, diversionary works and residential installs. We are looking for a competent individual with a minimum of 3 years experience of Design, Construction or Planning experience with a detailed knowledge of copper distribution and CATV HFC networks. Prospective candidates should also have the following skills & experience;- Detailed understanding of Civils & Cabling Specifications - Knowledge of PDH/SDH Transmission systems - Knowledge of Streetworks Codes of practice & Regional/Local Government planning requirements - Fully conversant with the NRSWA (1991) Code of Practice for Diversionary Works. - An understanding of Access Network planning principles. - Detailed understanding of CDM Regulations - NRWSA Accreditation to operative level in at least Module 8 (Signing, Lighting & Guarding) - PC literate in MS Office Suite and GIS applications Contact iain.flinn@amiqus.comTel 01925 252583
