Reporting to the National Sales and Marketing Director you will have Blue chip telemarketing management experience andworked within a start up, transformation or rapid growth function. You will further have lead and developed a successfultelemarketing team with high achievements preferably in a regulated environment and be able to develop our clientsthriving business.Purpose of the JobTo manage and transform our clients UK telemarketing function. It is planned that this function will be transformed andmodernised as part of a strategic investment to increase marketing reach in to the retail, private client and wholesalesegments. Therefore the role will require the incumbent to drive this transformation process forward acquiring skills andsystems adapting and implementing them into the UK market.Specific Job ResponsibilitiesBusiness/Function TransformationWorking closely with the sales and marketing senior management to assess the systems and management practices and presentproposals based upon the adaptation to the UK culture and market. Specific elements include: The Telemarketing system Performance management practices Reward and Incentive system Quality control Recruitment practices Career Structure Training programmesManagement of Telemarketing TeamMonitor, control, coach and develop an effective telemarketing team initially a team of 6 and growing to potentially 30fte as the business grows and transforms over the next three years. Maintain performance and enhance performance standard utilising the performance management process Recruit a dynamic team Create a unique can do team culture which will provide a unique experience as a customer Identify account handlers who could develop into future supervisory rolesMonitor Telemarketing Business PerformanceUsing the Telemarketing system monitor the performance of the function. Key performance indicators (KPI) will include: Retail and wholesaler business performance (sales and margin) Direct and Indirect (via wholesale) sales Call activity levels Account development Call quality (via quality control processes)Implementation of PromotionsImplement promotions with appropriate mix of activities as agreed with sales management. Elements of mix are toinclude: Automated emails Alert texts to end clients Product specific mailings Promotional e-marketing and other marketing. Develop Price listsOperational Relationship ManagementTo establish and maintain a strong working relationship with to ensure system development and process improvements areimplemented in the UK. In the early stages of the managers career with he/she will spend a significant amount of time inthe learning and assessing the model.Ongoing this relationship will require the manager to work closely with to identify: Areas of best practice System developments and upgrades System improvement recommendationsMarket Price ReportingTo provide up to date real time market price information to management for pricing decisions.
