Description:

To generate revenue through selling the company's products and services to all contacts, prospects and customers by:- Managing and closing inbound sales leads; and- Outbound telesales activity to generate new leads.Main dutiesSelling:- Convincing prospects to purchase the company's products that they had not previously considered purchasing prior to anytelesales activity.- Maximize the value of the order by promoting options, accessories, upgrades, services, etc.Inbound calls and enquires:- Respond promptly to inbound calls and web based / email enquires.- Provide requested information to callers.- Develop enquires into leads, opportunities for sale, and then track to ensure they are closed as the company's sale.Outbound calls:- Follow up leads provided, transforming them in to opportunities and subsequently ensure in the company's sales is made.- Call installed base customers to offer new products, upgrades, options, software and services, developing new leads andopportunities.- Call identified video conferencing and/or audio conferencing users to offer new products, upgrades, options, softwareand services, developing new leads and opportunities.Record keeping and information gathering:- Maintain a record of all calls, collecting the appropriate information into the systems and databases provided.- Collect, record and if necessary refer market and competitor information.Opportunity management- Refer leads and opportunities once at appropriate stage to either the company's sales reps, or channels sales reps.- Set appointments for the company's sales reps and channel sales reps for demonstrations and field follow up.- Monitor and track referred leads to ensure progress in closing the company's saleCustomer Support / Satisfaction- Provide a high level of customer support at all times.- Respond promptly and always meet commitments made to prospects and customers.- Develop the company brand through high quality interaction at all times.Processes- Use available tools e.g. salesforce.com.- Recommend ways of improving processes.- Recommend improvements to calling methods and target areas.InteractionInternal:- Sales. Develop a good understanding of the regions supported and the roles of the company's sales people within theseregions.- Marketing. Understand telemarketing activity, understand and promote marketing programs.- Order Management.External:- Channel partners. Develop relationships with sales people in channel partners to optimise the closure of leads, and tooptimise feedback.- Customers. Maintain and build relationships with regular customers.Qualifications requiredsome form of higher education.Competency profileEssential:- At least one year's experience in a fast moving telesales operation in the IT industry.- A winning attitude and a track record of delivering results.- Self-motivated and tenacious with an ability to handle pressure situations, overcome barriers and bounce back fromrejections.- Confident communication and influencing skills.Desired:An interest in progressing with a career in sales.You will be offered a basic salary between GBP 20-25K and a maximum OTE of GBP 35K.Benefits will include: - Life insurance of 4 x basic salary, Pension, BUPA private medical insurance, Salary continuancescheme, Critical illness cover.Natural Born Billers is a recruitment agency and recruitment business.
