Description:

THIS IS ONE OPPORTUNITY NOT TO MISS! Our client is a recognised leader in the sale and hire of back-up generators, temperature control and compressed air systems (e.g. generators) to predominately to the construction industry, but deal with companies worldwide. Their remit is to is to reduce company risk, ensuring they can keep on working no matter what is thrown at them. As part of a national growth strategy they are looking for a dynamic sales person to join this established team and help drive sales. Based South of Milton Keynes and reporting to the Sales Director, the responsibilities for this exciting opportunity will be to build instant rapport with an established portfolio of construction companies, ensuring that you maintain/grow this client base into real revenue generators. You will also be expected to proactively hunt down new business opportunities, using you in-depth contacts and understanding of the "Plant Hire" industry to secure lucrative hire and leasing contracts. In addition, you will also be expected to offer expert advice on the best type of equipment, H&S and training. The successful applicant will have a strong sales track record in either the sales, hire or leasing of "backup power supplies" (e.g. Plant Hire), ideally two years industry experience. You will be able to demonstrate a history of achieving sales targets and actively hunting down new business opportunities. Although, training will be provided on their specific "backup power supply" units, they would expect that you have a thorough understanding of the "Plant Hire" industry (related products) so you can hit the ground running. Remuneration for this role will be in the way of a base salary (GBP 25-35K depending on seniority and level of experience), excellent uncapped commission structure (GBP 50K OTE), company vehicle, and all the extra's.
