: This leader in factory-produced modular framing and structural systems for offsite construction applications requires a Test Laboratory Technician. You will be required to manufacture and evaluate design and production prototypes, test pre-production components to verify predicted performance levels and test products and systems for regulatory compliance using in house facilities and prepare test specimens for off site testing. Other responsibilities will include monitoring structurally and dimensionally critical product features to determine the effects of material and process variability and tool wear on product quality. An experienced material, mechanical or structural laboratory technician with appropriate qualifications and hands on skills, you must have the appropriate skills to write risk assessments, method statements and test reports in a clear, concise and comprehensive manner. You should also be competent in the design of experiments. You should be capable of working alone or leading a small team in the execution of specified tasks and will be involved in training staff and approved contractors. |
