Educated to HND / Degree status, or able todemonstrate equivalent knowledge. Experience andknowledge of Design For Test best practices. Atleast 2 years experience of supporting andmaintaining manufacturing test systems for mediumand low volume manufacturing facilities At least 2years experience with the design and development ofmanufacturing production test systems, bothhardware and software. (HF, UHF, RF communicationssystems). Experience and knowledge of RF Test andmeasurement techniques. Appreciation of systemlevel design. Experience of New ProductIntroduction. Hardware: Proficient in all aspectsof the electronic and electrical design anddevelopment of test jigs (switching signal paths,interfacing to unit under test, analogue anddigital). Experienced in the design rack testsystems, assessing specifications and test gearuncertainties, specifying appropriate testequipment. Software: Proficient in designing anddeveloping LabView test software, including thecontrol of test equipment and test hardware, usingGPIB, USB and serial etc. Proficient in usingHT-basic programming language for support andmaintenance of older test systems. |
