DescriptionRegistered home inspectors will be required to inspect all properties prior to them being offered for sale under thegovernments new legislation due to come into effect in 2007.RequirementsCandidates are required to train to become Home Inspectors between now and then. This will involve attendance ateducational institutions, private study and on the job training and supervision.BenefitsAll training fees will be paid and a salary paid as a trainee with a competiive salary paid on completion of training andonce the legislation actually comes into force.The job will be similar to that of a residential building surveyor or building society/bank valuer but is not limited tochartered surveyors and we envisage that anyone with property based qualifications and/or experience may be suitable. |
