Ref No: 572 Vacancy: Training Assessor (Cleaning/Care)Location: Central LondonContract post: 3 months with possible extensionMain Purpose of Role: To deliver training and assessment for a Level 2 NVQ in Support Services to Healthcare The post is mobile and will require travel to a number of hospitals located in Central London To create learner portfolios to agreed standards and within specified timelines, and to prepare these portfolios forinternal verification and archiving. To plan implement and fully document inductions, initial assessments and mid/end of course reviews with learners. Liaison with Learners, Quality and Verification Officer, Programme Support Administrator, Hospital StaffKey Accountabilities: Support the Quality and Verification Officer in continuous improvement of the programme. Ensure the accurate input of learner data onto the management information system. Adhere to strict timelines for registration, internal verification, assessment and certification. Ensure timely and regular liaison with hospital staff to ensure smooth delivery of programme. Attendance and constructive programme feedback in team meetings as required by Operations Manager and InternalVerifier. Participate fully in Internal and External Verifier visits as required by the Operations Manager and the Quality andVerification Officer.Essential:D32/33/A1 Assessors awardOccupationally competent to assess cleaning NVQs, preferably in a hospital environmentGood IT Skills (i.e. Microsoft Office)Demonstrable experience as a trainerSalary: GBP 18ph (based on 20 hour week)
