: Working for a leading telecommunications operator you will be involved in the following: Design and planning of the Radio Access Transmission Network, supportingTDM/ATM traffic between cell sites and the Area Switching Centres. Optimisation and QoS monitoring of the operational transmission network to uplift availability for both voice and data. Responsibilities will include: Plan end to end connectivity for 2G/3G sites; Optimise existing Transmission Network; Measure and trend QoS on existing RAN using DACCS and QMS systems; Traffic routing down to 64Kbts; Manage site shares, wind farm applications, tower swaps, notice to quit sites, event/temp sites. You will have 2 years Radio Transmission Planning exp.; sound knowledge of PDH/SDH Line equipment & Microwave Radio Link Design using IQ Link; CCT routing; computer literacy. Knowledge of DACC's equiments desirable, plus basic understanding of 3G technology and ATM, Excel & Access, knowledge of Nortel BTS/BSC equipment. Project People act as an employment agency in respect of permanent positions, and an employment business in respect of temporary and contract positions. |
