QUALIFICATIONS:Educated to a high standard of education.CPC (International) an advantageEXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:4/5 years operational transport management experience;PC literate, with sound knowledge of transport routing, scheduling, and maintenance systems;Experience of dealing direct with the customer and 3PLs;Demonstrate core management skills including self-management, resource management, leading and developing a team;Sound operational experience of FMCG;Knowledge of transport regulations, guidelines, processes and procedures;SKILLSHighly customer aware with proven influencing/negotiating skills;Proven analytical skills with the ability to apply effectively, the complex business requirements;Strong personal leadership skills with an ability to motivate;Creative and innovative and comfortable initiating and adapting to organisational change;Excellent communication skills at all levels;Ability to operate effectively in a demanding environment;
