RoleOur client requires a senior transportation professional to carry out a responsible role in an established team withinthe Highways Division of the company in the Leeds Office. There is a varied, interesting workload with an emphasis on thepreparation of Transport Assessments for private sector, developer clients and many large schemes with RegionalDevelopment Agency clients. Schemes range from small residential proposals to multi -million developments across allsectors.The successful applicant should have experience of preparing Transport Assessments, traffic related reports, providingadvice to clients and negotiating with local highway authorities and the Highway Agency. There are also opportunities towork alongside internal and external clients in the environmental, planning, highway design, structural, drainage andproject management disciplines.The successful applicant will assist in the management of an expanding, motivated team of six professionals and will bedirectly responsible to the Technical Director.QualificationA degree in Civil EngineeringChartered status to MICE or MIHT or equivalent qualificationNon- chartered engineers with good experience and background may be considered for the positionExperience8-10 years of transportation and highways experience, ideally including around 5 years post chartered experience in theprivate consultancy sector |
