: A tremendous opportunity exists in Birmingham for a Geotechnical Engineer with either 1 year Geotechnical experience from industry or alternatively a Civil Engineering, Geology or Environmental Science degree with a good understanding of Contaminated land assessment and contaminated remediation. The successful applicant can expect brilliant training with considerable scope for career advancement. Your role will be to supervise Civil Engineers in the the installation of liners and capping systems for contaminated sites and landfills. You will be involved in the design of civil engineers works and the contract documents for landfill construction and contamination remediation. To be considered you must have a clear understanding of Geotechnical assessment and it would be very advantageous if you have an awareness of nuclear density meters and experience of soil testing techniques will be a huge advantage. Applicants must hold a current clean (ish) driving licence. Successful performance in this role will certainly present you with a wealth of opportunities for the future. |
