This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most prestigious test and evaluation groups in the UK Defence sector.Working for this major service provider with long term contracts to the MoD, you would play an integral part in the testand evaluation support of defensive aids in the heavy, Fast Jet, Rotary Wing and UAV groups. This will involve theconduct and assessment of defensive aids and related systems i.e. Trials.Successful candidates will hold a qualification in electronic engineering or have served a recognised aircraftengineering apprenticeship (or service equivalent). Experience in radar, electro-optical systems and aircraft EW systems,together with knowledge of their operating philosophies are essential, and knowledge of military aircraft certificationand airworthiness processes, are highly desirable. Candidates will also have experience in aircraft and systems groundand flight trials, together with requirements definition, paperwork preparation, trials conduct and trials reportingappropriate to their Career Level. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be computerliterate, and have a flexible, team oriented attitude to support working relationships across the programmes. |
