Type of person we're looking for:- ACA qualified, UK or overseas.- Have experience of either or both of preparation or the audit of UK GAAP statutory accounts- Have experience of either working in or having audited the annual accounts of a Life Insurance company- Have experience of conversion work for IFRS- Have FSA experience if possible (but this is not a pre-requisite)Responsibility for:- Preparation of UK Insurance parent statutory accounts for 2005 year end- Point of contact with External Audit during audit of 2005 UK insurance parent statutory accounts- Preparation of 12 small subsidiary company UK statutory accounts for 2005 year end- Liaison with Internal and External Audit during audit of small subsidiary UK statutory accounts- Assist in the completion of the 2005 annual FSA return with particular reference to the asset (F13) and liability (F14)forms, revenue account (F40) and solvency forms (F2 and F3).- Support any ad-hoc IFRS investigations- Provide guidance on the impact of any changes to process caused by introduction of new (UK) reporting standards |
