Providing server infrastructure configuration and support to internal and external customers on a number of platforms and including various middleware. The team provides hardware, software and connectivity solutions, and their subsequent support, to enable a large number of project development and delivery teams to support their customers. Mandatory Skills: VAX VMS Operating System AND DG Unix Operating System. Any of the following desirable: AIX / UNIX operating systems: Installation, configuration and administration, including shell scripting. A general technical ability, aptitude and problem solving skills are essential. SOFTWARE: HP UX, Linux, Windows (NT / 2000 / 2003), UDB/DB2, Oracle, Wepbsphere Apps Server, Lotus Domino, LEI, Tivoli Storage Manager, DB2 OLAP, Rational Tools, VM Ware. HARDWARE: DG Aviion, HP Alpha, IBM xSeries, IBM pSeries: setup, maintenance and LPAR configuration of above. MUST HAVE BOTH VAX VMS AND DG UNIX FOR THIS ROLE.: VAX VMS / Unix Support.
