The weld department is responsible for the manufacture ofthe car body shell.Establish a set of approval weld repair methodsResponsible for analysis of spot weld concerns and activityto improve the overall weld integrity resultResponsible for the planning and implementation of aprogramme of activity to improve the spot weld conditioni.e. reduce blurr/ splatter and extend tip life etc.Responsible for all countermeasures activity arising fromdestruct eventsJob RequirementsQualification (s)A welding institute recognised qualificationDesign capability to help define consumable specsExperience Min 2 years working with resistance spot weldingExperience of operation of FANUC/MOTOMAN robots and Obara timersAdditional RequirementsGood communication skills, both written and verbal (E)The ability to use own initiative and meet specifieddeadlines (E)Computer literate (Microsoft office)A flexible approach to work
