Our Client, a major international contractor for the oil/gas onshore/offshore industries worldwide, are seeking a Welding Engineer to join their team.Essential Qualifications:HND degree or higher qualification in metallurgy and materials science or other engineering disciplines with materials welding or fabrication content. Diploma or higher qualification in welding engineering. Qualification as European Welding Technologist or European Welding Engineer.Desirable Experience:Practical experience as a welding engineer in a fabrication environment experience in pipeline welding and application of automated welding processes knowledge of materials and welding technology in the offshore oil/gas industry. Research in welding process development knowledge of automated ultrasonic inspection methods.Client would also consider applications from young welding engineers who have less experience.Salary:Negotiable |
